Kitchener-waterloo Opera
This opera group has successfully presented opera classics such as The Barber of Seville, Tosca and The Pearl Fishers. Four to five productions are showcased each year. Performances are staged in the Raffi Armenian Theatre, The Centre in the Square.
Opera Hamilton was incorporated in 1980,having grown out of the community’s annual “Festitalia” celebration. The new company produced a two-opera season, under the leadership of its board, Artistic Director Steven Thomas and General Manager Ruth Slater.
